ISTE STANDARDS FOR STUDENTS

Our students were born with the inner mechanism of technology, so technology is easy to handle for them. The issue is that we as teachers show them the usefulness of all these tools in creating knowledge. Sometimes they do not know the power they own to create new materials, artifacts, or gadgets originating from small projects in classes. Technology in school lets students acquire the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to succeed in a rapidly digital world.
ISTE STANDARDS FOR EDUCATORS

(International Society for Technology in Education) Standards for Educators were developed to provide a framework that helps teachers integrate technology effectively into their teaching practices. These standards aim to guide educators in using digital tools to enhance learning, foster innovation, and prepare students for the challenges of a digital world.
Improving Teaching and Learning:.
In the process of getting involved in technology in classes, I would begin with this standard, It would be the first one, I would work in. I'm working on implementing my degree's work so I started including some applications to reinforce vocabulary learning, in the next stage of the class, I'm using more technological tools to elicit opinions rooted in their prior knowledge and experiences. In the last stage, they will be able to support or contrast classmates' ideas. First of all, we as a teacher need to overcome fears about whether these tools engage or not our students. Second, we have to learn to create each time tools that take students to a new level that demands more mental effort according to Bloom's taxonomy. Technology needs to be linked with mechanisms that stimulate strategies to create new alternatives to common situations in students' settings like Based problem learning, Based inquiry learning, and Clearning environments..
